Boy it's been awhile since I've actually posted anything on here, whoops!
This time it's not so light-hearted and kinda a vent format.
Not going to be like this all the time, promise. Now;
As you may know, I'm Nonbinary/Xenogender and Transspecies.
Theres no clear cut oh which is which since they've ended up integrating anyway.
Not only that, it's one of the major focus and importance that makes me, me.
And although I'm kinda upset that Wikipedia took down the section for Species Dysphoria, that is what I experience the most.
Just like with every community--esp online communities, there are some aspects and people within it I dont like and tend to avoid. But it feels downhill with the Alterhuman communities and it's concerning me greatly.
Since 2013-present, people been treating it like a joke or a phase. Not a real or valid identity.
People thinking they're nonhuman but realizing they are human and was misguided is fine and honestly expected, identity is confusing like that!
But telling other people to "Not take things like this seriously / It's not that serious" is another thing, even outright disrespectful.
I despise so much that a few people within this community, mainly on Tumblr and Discord, is pushing this whole "You're human now, deal with it" like.
Yes. I know that as clear as day. Thanks.
However, this may shock some of you--I dont view myself nor will I ever identified as human.
The body is 100% human and functions as one.
I cant change that on an cellular level, but I can change the look through body modifications and clothing.
When one says such thing, it's like you're treating this whole situation as a spiritual belief and something you can drop any time. Yes, spiritual reasoning was one of our foundations in the community but it's just an explanation, not a fact or it's main focused on.
(It's also why I hate the spiritual side of this community, like fuck the whole past lives shit.)
NOT ONLY THIS
We are clearly erasing for the ones that were never human in the first place, just happens to resides in a human body due to trauma, from walking in or any other means for the Plural Systems.
Nonhuman Alters/Headmates exist and some do interact with the Otherkin/Therian/Fictionkin section of the community for whatever reason, it's just as bizarre telling them they're human now.
I've gotten it and a few of our members as well.
Now, I'm not saying everyone who do this is an outright monster or toxic and damaging the community. No, some just dont know better or have trouble formulating words, it happens. But goodness for the ones that do it's honestly annoying at this point, some even would try to do this as a gotcha situation and honestly? Stop.
